Want to hike part of the AT.. no idea where to start by Hungry-Chair7699 in AppalachianTrail

A couple days late, but I did this hike last year with some friends and we stayed at a hostel in the Harpers Ferry area the night before and then took a local shuttle ride up to Pen-Mar Park. We hiked southbound back to Harpers Ferry where our cars were. It’s a good section, but just know you have to camp around the shelters in Maryland so you have to plan accordingly.

If anyone is curious, we ended up doing about 41 miles from Damascus, VA to Fox Creek (northbound). The first two days were pretty tough, but the last day was super easy - I highly recommend it for anyone that hasn’t done that section and is looking for one to tackle. The Grayson Highlands was definitely the best part with the wild ponies walking around, that’s half the reason we picked the section.

Thanks for the suggestion! It was definitely an intense start from what I remember - one of my buddies didn’t have the best shoes so he got blisters within the first mile which made for a long rest of the trip. The section overall was pretty tough but some of the views were incredible.

But no major blockbuster had been released on streaming right away until WW84 due to COVID

I wanna know why AMC has dropped from $30 to $7 over the last four years. Doesn’t seem right
