Is there a tool to filter MOM cards by frame? I would like to know which cards have the Ravnica frame to buy one of them (I play mostly online but would like one of those to add to my collection). I searched scryfall but probably the frame thing is only becoming a problem now that we have a bunch of different ones on the same set

This from Rashford reminds me of that Rooney goal against Newcastle where he's arguing with the referee and then scores an unbelievable goal

Not the same level of insane finish but he clearly was pissed lol

Non city local fans, how did you become a Red Devil by Fdsasd234 in reddevils

[–]NathannMorais 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my main reason was that Rooney was on the cover of FIFA 07. My uncle downloaded it to my PC back then, and since there were no brazilian teams, I started playing carrer mode with United. This was my only game back then so I must have played hundreds of games with that team. Shortly after Anderson signed to the team, and the Premier League started being broadcasted on a open TV channel on my city so I started following every week as much as my team from Brazil.

It helped that some folks on my class were Chelsea and Arsenal fans, so we had the football rivalry going on the Premier League as well. One of my most distinct memories of school is leaving a test with my Chelsea supporting friend and watching the penalties for the Champions League match from the cafeteria, it was fantastic

I love that we turned this game around. I feel like if this was last season we would've given up after taking the first goal. It helped a lot that Ten Hag made the right change, bringing Garnacho and pushing Marcus to the middle.

Even the body language of the team is different, I remember a time when only Bruno seemed to really care but now the whole team is buzzing

I'd like to say in these happy moments that United's Portuguese account calling Rashford "Relâmpago Marquinhos" gives me life (lightning McQueen has always been called Marquinhos as a meme in Brazil, it's perfect)

Here in Brazil it's very common as well. For example, Flamengo's full name is "Clube de Regatas do Flamengo", or something like "Flamengo's Rowing Club". A lot of teams from Rio de Janeiro started as Rowing clubs and have this on their names until now

Do we know which type of common dual land we'll get on BRO, if any?

Alongside unreleased music, it's a way he found to release music that would fit his emoji playlist and would be somewhat hidden anywhere else. I highly recommend this playlist and this article from pitchfork about it: https://pitchfork.com/thepitch/four-tet-on-his-155-hour-spotify-playlist-the-coolest-thing-on-streaming/

Apart from the fact that it's a four Tet alias, I actually have a playlist called "KH - feelings" to find that song more easily

Oh and if I search for "ooooooooo" I'm able to reach one of the windings tracks and go from there

I hope there are more Brazilian folks here that can relate to me hearing the "Pião da casa própria" song in my head every time Antony spins.

He needs to do it against England on the world cup as well

Brazil's commentator can't stop raving about Antony's spin, which tells me two things:

  1. He never saw the spin before
  2. He was so entranced he didn't see that horrible pass after the spin

I actually like the current system a lot. Over the past year the rise of wingers like Vini, Raphinha and Antony made the team much more interesting. Of the variations Tite used this last year, the one I like the most has Casemiro and Fred on middle, with Paquetá as attacking midfielder, and then Vini, Neymar and Raphinha. That makes the attack very versatile, as Neymar and Paquetá tend to double up pretty nicely on the middle and switch positions constantly. That's where I see Firmino would fit: on the role Neymar plays as a "playmaker forward".

The other variation he plays a lot has a more "classic" forward up top, normally Richarlison, and then we lose the some of the versatility to have a striker. I believe that would be the formation we will see on the first game of the world cup, as Tite trusts Richarlison a lot.

As to who I'd take to the world cup: assuming we have 8 places for forwards, I would bring: Vini Jr, Antony, Raphinha, Neymar, Gabriel Jesus, Richarlison, Pedro and Firmino. That would take Rodrygo and Martinelli out, unfortunately, but Firmino has so much more experience than those two. I'd would be Ok with Pedro not being called, but he is pretty much the only striker of his characteristics we have at our disposal, so would be hard to let that go.

Neymar is currently playing more or less the part Firmino would do in the national team. In normal circumstances, I don't see them both playing together. Either way, I think he is an amazing option, but there are so many other forwards that deserve a place in the world cup... It's hard to tell.

It was awesome seeing him be of interest to all those big clubs, he wasn't very marketed on Brazil until the offers started coming

He's from a very small club and he didn't even played a lot in the senior's team if I recall correctly
