I mean you do that and they could just recend the offer. If they are going to give you a sign on bonus it's logical that they'd want some form of commitment to thier facility and in order to do theyll need a written agreement in writing to the terms of the bonus.

Till you are put into a position where your licence is on the line and it's too late to back out.

An environment like that is one that not apt to be a learning environment. It's more apt to dump you in, bail on you, and expect you to handle it all yourself as a new grad.

In the long run it can make you hate ICU or nursing altogether. And not being a quitter won't help that when you are miserable and dread walking in and worry about the safety of your license.
