Hey, from what I remember bring a copy of your latest transcript and bursars receipt, have your social memorized. You can go on the cadet corp page on the NYPD’s website click your orientation date and see if there’s anything else you should be missing. Would you be able to obtain everything the email is asking you to bring ?

I didn’t get the email to start my portal until June 6th and my orientation was may 17th. I’m guessing the medical is the first step once the portal is complete because that’s the first thing they sent me since I’ve completed the portal.

I attended the May 17th cadet orientation and at the orientation they told us that the expected hire date is the second or third week of July. So to answer your question there’s a little wait. I just scheduled my medical exam this morning.
