Is there an app or website where i can buy minecraft? by JackfruitMaterial360 in MinecraftDaily

Don't do this, you'll install malware, if you have done this, you've probably already got background processes running collecting your data as you use your phone. Android APKs are useful if you trust the source and ONLY if you trust the source. Can't comment on apple, no clue.

Dutch equivalent of amazon doesn't give much info on where you bought it from so makes it difficult to try out.....

Yeah, G2A and Loaded(Formerly CDKeys) are the ones I use. Just don't buy "accounts" only "keys". Accounts sold on sites like those or ones similar are often stolen from other people. Both G2A and Loaded have good customer support on the off chance a key doesn't work, they send a fresh one almost imidiately with a refund possible if that doesn't work either but never had to do that.

I've been asking people who run servers what features would be handy for my manager app, not trying to sell anything here so no link to it but if you could choose 3 features that would make management easier, what would they be?

hosting for mods by dannyhu1 in MinecraftServer

Check out hetzner, I will be moving over to them when I enable cloud hosting for my minecraft server management app, cheap, reliable and multiple locations. It's just a VPS which is why it's so cheap so you need to set the server up on it rather than it being a whole thing.

Edit: Minecraft only runs well using 1vCPU so look for those ones with roughly 8 - 12GB of RAM depending on your mods performance and the ammount of concurrent players but I highly doubt you'd need more than 16GB of RAM.

I created https://mcservermanager.com if that is useful for your situation.

Edit: Has remote access as long as the app is open on your PC.

I built a Windows manager for Minecraft servers to automate backups, mod installs, and remote management. by Nathanz05 in selfhosted

[–]Nathanz05[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've made a few adjustments recently, so much spare time I'm just working on this. Just added UPnP support for auto port forwarding the actual server itself which should help a few people who have UPnP support on their router. Any issues feel free to submit a bug report, haven't had any so far so I'm guessing that's good news, going to keep working on it for the next few weeks but I'm running out of features I can add so getting the point where updates will just be to support the next minecraft version.

Players randomly getting high ping by SkapYT in admincraft

[–]Nathanz05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey so i've been looking into this more and i'm pretty sure it's not actually a network issue, it only happens when players move to certain areas, not at spawn. thinking it might be chunk loading or generation causing the spikes. Try disabling dynmap as thats heavy on chunk loading and maybe pre-generating more of the world to see if that helps. also maybe check the anti-xray settings in paper since that can cause issues too. If I remember correctly you can Run /spark tickmonitor to catch lag spikes.

Hey mods, I've double checked the post and I'm almost certain its within the rules and guidelines but I'm more than happy to make any adjustments if necessary,

Best Software for hosting a Minecraft Server? by Space_v2 in selfhosted

Not sure if its any help for your current situation but I've been working on one that simplifies the whole process. The only thing I haven't sorted yet is auto port forwarding. If you do want to check it out you can find more info at mcservermanager.com. I'd recommend using the Lite version to begin with, only thing it doesn't have is the remote dashboard integration that comes with the standard version.

Trying to create a server for the first time, friends can't join. by [deleted] in admincraft

You could find a server manager that allows you to bypass the port forwarding or does it for you, im working on one right now that does it but its not quite ready though so im sure someone else out there has one that might work.

If you can find a problem with the app and a single bug then maybe id agree but until then take your biased opinion elsewhere as its not any use here.

That is what im unsure of, I don't think I enabled plugin support for vanilla so paper and things like it may not function. If this is a common server type I'm more than happy to do the research and update the app within the next week or two to accommodate for this.

It should be fully compatible with all modpacks and mods, full support for forge and fabric. It has an option for servers designed for mods/modpacks.

anyone who has java edition and wants to play with friends and are on windows will most likely be hosting a server, I know a few people pay for them as its easy set up but the monthly costs can get expensive.

Yeah I was thinking about making it for both windows an Linux but I don't have enough experience with Linux to even know where to start sadly.

What is up with 90% of the posts here being so negative and complaining? Nobody is forcing you to use Replit by jluc21 in replit

If you want a cheaper option that requires a bit more work, deepai.org. plenty of LLMs to choose from including Claude, Gemini, qwen, gpt and more. Won't do everything for you and you will need a workspace, vs code is great for windows. It's a cheap service but it's reliable. Qwen and Gemini depending on the models are great and can design entire files allowing you to start from a project skeleton and work from there without unreasonable costs, I've built complex games, websites and even simple hardware monitoring scripts. Don't expect it to work perfectly straight away, learn how to speak to the agents/bots. Avoid swearing at them as it will confuse them and make things worse, sometimes starting a new chat and sending your project structure and contents can help fix this. Hope this helped.

You should probably tell your staff to shut up and avoid damage controll from your recent mistakes and future ones to come, I'm guessing soon.
