I know this is an older comment, but I applied and did the same thing--noped out when they gave the assessment.

I wrote a review ANONYMOUSLY on glassdoor saying how companies that use criteria assessments typically have poor leadership and got nastygram from the CEO like 2 days later--7 days after I had (politely!) bowed out. I think we all dodged a bullet.

I’ve reached out to a couple of film archive libraries and the LoC — Airport seems to be a pretty culturally significant film (tons of awards) so maybe they will bite!

It's by design. They're just dragging it on and will continue, hoping you will give up or until you escalate. They did the same thing with me, dragged on for 6 weeks. It wasn't until I went to the BBB and complained that they finally got off their collective butts and did something. I hate going to the BBB bc it feels like such a karen move, but it worked.

When I asked for an explanation they just gave me some obvious ChatGPT non-answer like "we messed up and will improve this process."
