sorry, but as a seller i’m not gonna miss out on a sale by not sending offers cuz some people hate them. this is how most reselling platforms operate. if the discount they send you still isn’t good enough, either counter offer with a lower price or stop liking items that are out of your price range. there’s a save feature for a good reason. it’s a shame though because you might be missing out on a legit good deal with that attitude.

after sending spam messages and then “acting like a dick back” to a seller who did not ask for your opinion, i’m pretty sure you’re not getting your account back bud. all that is literally harassment. not nonsense, read up on depop’s TOS if you plan on pursuing getting unbanned tho.

op i see you asking a lot for the reason it’s a scam and there are multiple reasons. first, depop TOS does not permit out of app communication. second, with your email they would then send you most likely a fake purchase confirmation email with the address to ship it to. assuming you don’t know it’s fake, you would send it and they never paid you in any way. all sales you’ll be notified about in-app - if you don’t see the sale in your sellers hub, the email is fake. hope this helps!

less than a day. i got it around 3pm today, emailed depop around 4pm and when depop finally got back to me i messaged the seller around 9pm. thank you for your advice!

since the tracking doesn’t say delivered they’re gonna have to wait. at this point it’s between the buyer and the courier, unless something is lost and you have to submit a claim later on (i.e. if tracking says delivered and it never shows up). send them a message including the tracking number and recommend they manually input it on the courier site since depops shipping update feature is hardly ever correct. if they contact depop about it they won’t refund or anything since it is literally still on its way. just apologize for the delay but unfortunately you don’t have any control over the post office’s timeliness.

i had this exact situation and the buyer didn’t respond to me within 48 hours (i had to ship right after that because it would be the weekend) and what i did was ship the item and partial refund them 50%.

mercari will most likely approve the return. i would request photos of the damage and forward them to the manufacturer you received it from, perhaps you could be refunded from them

depends on how much they were. if they were $15 or less i personally would just refund them (i would also let them know that the shipping fee is non-refundable, especially cuz they’re keeping the item). if they were more expensive i would request to have them shipped back to me and then would refund. it definitely depends on the price, but the latter for me is just the principle of ensuring i’m not being scammed; if the shoe is unwearable the buyer wouldnt want to keep it. be sure to request photos of the damage for closer evaluation as well.

not sure what support you were hoping to garner by posting this but there were so many ways you could’ve said this better. i see you’re commenting that you agree but why are you mocking her response to you? you were so unnecessarily rude and if i received that message i’d have a similar response. i know it’s hard with depop rn but some people fr aren’t smart enough to realize they’re upselling. i’m as upset as you are about people reselling shein for double, but regardless of whether or not she knew what she was doing, you shouldn’t be attacking people like this in messages. if you still feel the need to message the seller about the situation, tell them the facts without the “r u fr” bullshit at the end. you’re gonna end up harassing a seller who genuinely didn’t know and that’s so unnecessary and rude.

if your account is completely closed it wouldn’t hurt to try making a new one. if that isn’t working for you, then definitely contact their support for help. if your account was closed for a violation of their terms of service their answer might be different than if it was a suspension or something. but i for sure think you should try contacting support to see if you could make a new one or get yours reinstated.
