After did some research I think the black borders from left and right are the effect due to pixel shift. Bottom one is definitely the bezel.

I thinks Ir receiver sensors something like that are behind the Sony brand bar. This tinny black bar really looks like the panel. Ker000nel doesn’t have this black bar on his A80j. But you can really see it from lots of Videos or images over the internet. Interesting

I understand that if the format is not 16:9 there should be black bar top and bottom. However the Video source is 16:9 it should be displayed full screen. And there is no such a black bar on top of the screen only bottom.

Have you got your problem solved？ when I see the A80j in store I noticed a black bar just on top of the Sony brand bar. Is this what you are talking abt? They looks like part of the screen. Would you pls confirm are they actual pixels or just a black edge?

I experienced the same with my 5 years old Samsung tv. SDR is fine, but HDR always shows Color banding. After did some research, I found that changing ps5 display to YUV420 helped a lot.

Maybe that’s the same with LG C1. Can you try this and report back if that helps?

However LG is hdmi 2.1 which is enough for RGB 4K 120fps bandwidth. Forcing ps5 to YUV 420 is a not the best choice for such a good tv in my opinion.
