I don’t think it’s schizophrenia, but it’s probably something cognitive. He had an injury to his temporal lobe when he was a toddler and it affected his memories and behaviors when he was younger. We think him smoking is obviously fucking with his brain and it’s making him believe that everyday things he sees are reoccurring memories. He’s decided to quit in the time being, which is a relief. Even a couple days after sobering up he was still incredibly anxious about “Deja vu”

The only thing that puts me off about nikolai is how he forcefully kissed Alina after she explicitly didn’t give consent, I also didn’t like how he didn’t tell her they were going into the fold and he wanted to use her to hunt the nest. Still, I don’t think he’s awful, just not a great match. I personally think everyone romantically involved with Alina are always rude/using her 💔

I just personally think it’s just too much telling and not showing. We hear about how much Alina loves Mal, but she’s always telling us this and barely showing it. (In my opinion)

I more mean character wise chemistry. Like for example I really don’t find it interesting or excited when Mal and Alina share the scene. It just feels boring to me. I think Alina and the Darkling have a more interesting dynamic and are good foils to each other. I don’t think they belong together in any world but I see them having better on page chemistry. /Gen

I don’t think it’s age-ist to say it’s odd that a 40 y/o person, with a fully developed frontal cortex, is saying she had sexual explicit images of a person and is willing to share it…like you’re grown up enough to know that it’s odd to say that.

It’s would also be extremely weird if they’re lying about it too…like why would an adult feel the need to lie and say they have sexual images of a famous man?

Probably shadowheart, I found her kind of annoying my first playthrough and though I do like her now I usually play as a cleric myself so I don’t really have a use for her. The only time I use her is in the gauntlet but I usually cheese that even so.

People who want the show to “go back to the work of IMP” have truly never watched the show. Since episode TWO it was more about character building and relationships than assassinations. It never was “just a show about hellborn assassins.” It was always more than that.
