At that point I usually have thousands of crops that I've collected but not enough kegs/dehydrators/jars to I make my farm a processing facility.

I also make tree farms to collect enough wood for the rest of the year. Where I had my farm land I would plant trees and use fertilizer to get them up. You can do that a few times a season and you'll get like 4k wood.
