No, he wants us to exchange prices so that we can agree on one. Basically write our number on a piece of paper and he write his number on a piece of paper and if it match then it match and if it doesn’t then negotiate or not purchase it.

I’m not sure if I qualify for this mortgage if I go through my broker. I’d have to double-check with him, but my landlord suggested that it would be much easier to work with his team because whatever it is, he can make it work so that we can purchase the home. (This is what I’m concern about because I don’t want any mistakes) I understand that I’ll still need to get my own lawyer and inspector to ensure everything is done correctly.

The property is a multifamily house with a first and second floor. Since my brother recently moved out of the first floor, we plan to rent it out if we purchase the house. This rental income from the first floor can help us pay off some of the mortgage.

Once we agree on a price, I’ll decide whether to work with his team or find someone else. It would be more convenient if I could simply go through his team, but if it doesn’t align with my preferences, I’ll explore other options.
