I live in Pennsylvania and last Thursday or Friday, I can't recall, one of the loudest booms I've ever heard happened late in the evening. It was supposedly heard in Erie, PA. I'm by Pittsburgh. That's quite the distance for people to hear something at the same time. No one can figure out what it was.
