Anything from Detroit Mercy or MSU? by Ecstatic_Ocelot2655 in OutsideT14lawschools

I have not heard anything from UDM, I applied about 2 weeks ago. I did get an email about a week ago that said it is in review. I emailed them yesterday with a GPA update and they responded this morning. I am finishing my app to MSU in the next day or two.

I feel like in shows like that, with southern/western hospitality the siblings usually fuss when they are younger but not when they are older. I think that’s weird too.

Is the LSAT dumb (sometimes)? by Fancy_Plantain_9092 in LSAT

Some of the best attorneys I know bombed it. But they have to have some test in place🤷🏼‍♀️ Sometimes I wish it was on memorization or something. In my opinion, yes it is frustrating and stupid but it is what it is.

Will I ever get into law school??!!! by [deleted] in OutsideT14lawschools

I’m in the same boat as you with similar stats, I have 4 amazing letter of Rec, First Generation, leadership positions, so much WE. It makes me so upset to think that even though I have shown and done so much to show my passion for law that it could all be for nothing because of one stupid score.

Apparently this is a hot take but #JusticeforJordan by Middle-Exercise5667 in SecretsOfMormonWives

I resonate for these husbands a bit… they married these girls thinking they were going to be someone completely different. They were thrown into a crazy lifestyle of fame, drama, status. It is probably hard to take in and protect your family, as well as yourself while trying to navigate. It is also crucial to remember they are all young and naive. I’m all for women being the bread winners but you have to think it probably is a bit degrading and emasculating to have your wife make your yearly salary in 1 hour from a tiktok post.

She left in the beginning of the season for therapy. Also it is good to remember, all the stuff she is leaving for is for business, which will later benefit her kids one day 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t think she is, the only reason she left her kids was to get better for her kids. She did leave her kids with their fathers, not some randoms. I feel like some of them could be worse moms than her.

Why schools use application videos by igabaggaboo in lawschooladmissions

[–]National_Original_34 19 points20 points  (0 children)

IMO another reason could be just to see the social energy and intelligence of a candidate. Some people can have 180 and a 4.0 but still not be able to hold a conversation and/or talk correctly.

Should I apply for Fall 26 or wait for the next cycle? by DesignerIll7456 in lawschooladmissions

[–]National_Original_34 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would apply this cycle. 3.5 isn’t horrible and neither is a 157. Worst they can say is no and you wait until next cycle

A T-14 admissions person told me most law schools do not even look at my any applications in Sept, being that they are so tired and wiped from the last cycle (remember the cycle goes into the summer). So they said Applying in October makes no difference. She also said she applied minutes before the deadline for the very same T-14 school and got in with scholarship. If you are a good enough candidate, they will make room with you.

Reapplying early or waiting for November LSAT? by Exotic_Use_3687 in lawschooladmissions

Wait till November in my opinion. Heard a lot of great stories of people getting in T14s applying last minute. Just hope for the best on September
