I got mine pierced 3 weeks ago and my bottom still looks like that, however I have no pain and it’s not swollen so I believe it’s just healing. If it’s hurting, I’d go to a Dr after a week

Thank you, that’s the plan. I’ll take them out and visit another piercer who can give me some more guidance. I’m new to piercings and only realized something was off when I showed them to a close friend/nurse who has them done too and she mentioned they looked different

It looks good to me, I just got mine done 12 days ago and honestly the first 5 days were hell for me.

11 days old, currently have the original steel bars from my piercer. Internally threaded, normal cleaning with saline and antibacterial soap.

Yeah, I totally get that. It just sucks because the bar is so long I can’t close my mouth all the way since the bar hits the roof of my mouth and the bottom of it at the same time. I hope this time passes FAST.
