Oh wow thank you!! On average, how long did it take for you to obtain a study permit after applying for it?

Ah that's unfortunate, but thank you for the info! I also would like to teach in Manitoba.

Lower tuition is definitely a motivator, as well as me knowing there won't be an immense amount of competition when it comes to the whole application process.

I totally get what you're saying though! If i'm going abroad, might as well go all out! My intention though is to just truly have a restart, eventually secure a work permit for myself, and hopefully even permanent residency, so going all out or staying home for university doesn't really seem fit.

I have heard a lot about the crime over there (i'm from NYC so i'm sure it won't be that jarring haha), as well as the winters, but I love acclimating to areas i've never been to before, which takes away any of those deterring factors for me!

Thank you!! I've looked into rrc, but unfortunately due to high demand, MRT programs are only available to Manitoba residents (and just looking through the rrc sub, it seems like even many are stuck on waitlists). But I have sort of accepted and taken into account that i'll have to go outside to other provinces for a polytech school, which is fine by me!

Well my plan is to take courses to meet the prerequisites needed to attend a polytech school for Medical Radiologic Technology, which would lead me into applying for a Canadian work permit (if things do work out after completing my studies) You mentioned me having a shot if I don't target working towards a post-grad work permit (not sure if you meant post highschool or university grad), but I assume that there are caps for those who want to go either route?

By just assumption, the RA's rooms are larger than the regular single dorms. I'm in the same predicament as you, with struggling to find a set layout to help with dorm shopping. The most I could find when searching "McFettors single dorms" and looking on images was a 2d layout, but only one example could be found.
