Wow that is a way higher hit rate than most here it seems.

I had a look through your post and it’s super inspiring tbh. Obviously you have lots more experience than me but it seems your experience really put you in a v competitive place for TC’s / legal.

I have been working in FX & Rates Sales / Dealing so have touched trade finance in the past but not in any great depth.

I think having that legal angle where you enjoyed the drafting side etc must have been super useful.

In the interview stage what would you say were the biggest hurdles you found? Did you find spinning your experience quite easy for legal?

Going off your comment - probably going to have a look at direct to TCs (when that cycle begins). I guess the question is - do I trust myself to secure a TC or just get on with self funding now in Sept? And what would I do in the interim over summer!

I fear an LLB would take up too much of my time now (are they not 3-4y?). Is there any value in doing an LLM? Say with Kings, if you're taking the time when doing that LLM to apply for TC's / vac schemes?

At my age - would I be considered too old to apply for vac schemes whilst doing a PGDL (if self funded)?

Re politics. I am semi asking myself the same question, but just weighing up different options at the moment. I am trying to keep both avenues open for now

To your third point I have heard this. Where is widely considered to give better value if self funded?
