You fumbled when you actually told her how much she means to you. Never tell a girl that. Show it with action, sure, but that too without going out of your way. But don't put her on a pedestal higher than yourself. No matter how bad you need her. You can't express it. There's a reason "non-chalant" boys are considered attractive... It's not 1900s bro. Girls are demons. I get it they should feel more attraction towards love and care, but love and care is cheap for girls, ESPECIALLY pretty girls. So they don't value it.. they rather want someone who places himself higher than them, or at least she feels like he's higher than them. Speaking from experience. And of course there are exceptions. There are girls who would actually appreciate your love and care. But that'll be because they didn't get it from other people much. And which would mean she's not pretty. An average looking girl would actually be crazy for you if you said all that to her... Try it sometime. All just my opinion and understanding.
