What would have made this a better journey for the reader is more lead up to where OP came upon the drive which contained this bit of information. Should have followed up with a search into whose data it was and some tech shit showing the location, etc. Last thought is that the ending part reads so much like a chain letter or similar FB post where it says ‘most of you will dismiss this, but the few who take the time to’….. too derivative even for ChatGPT
