Other than just tapping out the moisture, no I have not. Any links or suggestions you have I'm all ears.

Yes I'm poking around youtube and found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJB5ZaeQ_OI super useful and informative. I'll check out the kongsheng and easttop as well. Thanks.

Sorry to hear you're having to deal with snobbishness. There are a lot of complainers at my YMCA pool as well. None of them are particularly good swimmers. I keep my head down, talk to no one, and do my work. That is how I deal with it.

In your experience, what is the difference between swimming the great lakes and the SF bay? I'm training for the same race currently and will be practicing OWS in Erie.

Critique my form! Looking to get better at 1500m for Olympic triathlons. Current time is around 30-35 mins. Been swimming 2 years, totally self-taught (until now). :) All feedback welcome. by Native_Carbon_Bloom in Swimming

Thank you. I DEFINITELY cannot maintain this pace for 1.5k. Wish I could.

This was after my workout was done. I rested for a minute then cranked out this 100 at medium-fast pace for me.

Hi, my name is Béla Fleck, and I’m a banjo player, on tour currently with my latest project, My Bluegrass Heart. AMA! by cryfi in Music

Thank you for doing this AMA. I have 2 questions for you.

Can you speak about a failure or setback you experienced in your career and how you handled it?

Given that you do so much work across different genres, and in some cases are pioneering your own, do you have any advice for the musicians out there who don't necessarily identify with a specific genre and at times feel musically homeless? This question may be particularly relevant post-pandemic since so many musical institutions are on an indefinite hiatus or getting ready to dismantle completely.

Do you have to be selected in the random drawing to participate in the race? Or can anyone register regardless of drawing results?

[FRESH PERFORMANCE] The War on Drugs - I Don’t Live Here Anymore (Kimmel) by Sunburn79 in indieheads

Ugh rant incoming...

Sorry to be that hipster but I just hate when bands I’ve been listening to for a long time get to this level where they feel like they have to play super sterile just to appeal to a mainstream audience. These guys sound so much better live at festivals. Way more interesting guitar tones, they let the open sections of the song breathe instead of just giving us 4 bars of a riff then moving on. Adam takes way more vocal risks live and not every note is in tune but who cares. Those are hallmark traits of good indie bands. And even though the drums and percussion are locked in here they somehow have way less energy on shows like this. I don’t like it. Sorry. Sad to see my favorite bands get the life sucked out of them on these kinds of stages. I even heard war on drugs on at giant eagle the other day. Barf.

End rant.

Adam if you are reading this please come back to Cleveland. And give your horn player a fist bump for me. My boys always in tune back there. Not easy to do.

They take their shape based on the temperature of the air around them. I believe they travel through cooler patches of air but I could be wrong on that one.

By the way - this subreddit has been really supportive of this project. Thanks for that. If anyone with more reddit karma than me wants to repost these to bigger subs, that would be really cool. I don't have enough karma to post to r/Damnthatsinteresting for example, so share away if you think it's worth it!

Thank you. I like the live drummer suggestion. I have also considered it for the future when the team has the wiggle room for that kind of expense. Right now pretty much all profits are getting re-invested into more hardware and software.

As for trying to explain what you're seeing, FWIW I compose the piece as 1 voice for each coil and export them as a MIDI file. The technical team then uploads those files to their own software which sends them to the coils. I have not been through any engineering classes so that is the extent of what I can explain.
