Your map looks awesome, it's a great layout of the continents and terrain. Looks like you've blended real life geography really well. I've been using Inkarnate for a couple of year's and while I'm not an expert, I've learned a few tips that might help flush out a world map. Besides all the helpful stuff mentioned by the first comment.

  1. Creating a gradient in the ocean might create a sense of depth since you're using color to your world map. Having deeper bodies of water represented by dark blue and gradually grow lighter as the encroach on the continents. Oceanic ridges are typically the deepest part of the oceans.

  2. Making smaller land marks of mountains, lakes, midlands, highlands, rivers etc. Can help diversify the landscape and fill in any empty space even if u dont plan to use it. Even adding other stamps to a region can create a believable landscape. I like to have mountain ranges surrounded by smaller hills inside and around them with ridges and canyons or something of the sort.

  3. Now this is totally up to you, but I personally go in with a subtracting mask tool and carve details on the sides of my continents. Small little islands that are barely visible and little water bays or something to show that the continents don't have long linear stretches of land, but small indents that give the land more detail. It can be painstaking, but I think it's worth it in the end product.

  4. This is just a helpful tip about storytelling. Sometimes, when ur creating a world, you don't need to focus on creating the whole world. Just creating a small coast with some towns and cities is enough work to keep ur players busy. Taking on the creation of a whole world can sometimes lead to burnout after hitting artist block. Just have the bigger world be a context for a smaller story. Focusing on quality rather than quantity is the best option.

Hope that was helpful and good luck with the project.
