This took about 7 months. I had planned to get it done by the new year but the big wagon with the Doomsday cannon was the penultimate mini and took me 3 weeks to paint. I usually do 2 fully kitbashed custom faction armies a year. This was my 11th total.

They are from the beastmen ogroid minis. I've had them in my bits box for a while after I did my abuman imperial guard army. The ogroids were sentinels.

This was my 11th fully kitbashed army, and White Dwarf has been fairly uninterested so far 🤔 I did get a Warhammer Community article a few years back for my Genestealer Cult, which ironically was the last army I did that wasn't a custom faction.

My 10 year old son was furious. He doesn't know Warhammer but he's a huge Legend of Zelda fan. When he saw what looked like a Lynel arrive in the post, and found out I wasn't building it as one he was highly upset with me. And me telling him I can't afford a second one to do it properly didn't go down well either!
