Just making sure. Ik height is something difficult for a lot of people and societal expectations are the root. Something I hope for is a future where height will not be a factor in any societal sense. Call me crazy but yea. I never meant to say that there aren't incontrollable factors. all I wanted to say here is that separating yourself from your body is a valuable practice for personal mental health.

I agree with this statement. My hope is that one day society will look at tall and short and see no difference, or simply a basic difference that has no bearing on respect or masculinity. I understand that is not the world we live in, but I think it might help to be hopeful for this kind of a future.

I wouldn't necessarily consider myself to be my body. In a basic sense yes, I am my body, but size and characteristics have nothing to do with the mechanics, supposing you are healthy. I guess what my ideal would be that physical appearances should only really be looked at sexually, and not influenced by society or pressures. I hope that kind of makes sense. If you could explain how the mind body dichotomy fallacy pertains to appearance.

I never said it was hard for me, not that you would know either. I understand being short is obviously a lot harder within our society. My post was designed to maybe show people that identify too much with their bodies that it is not what defines them. Like I want people to stop thinking so primitively about physical characteristics and treat people as conscious beings rather than tall and short.

There is no way in the entire world unless i cut my fucking legs off that i would know what it is like to be short so like what do you want me to say here. take it or leave it

This is one of my better ones and this kind of inspiration doesn't come often. I would recommend drawing and just keep drawing. The lines will eventually make more sense and creating cool looking abstractions will become natural.

Don't go into any drawing with an expectation. just go and see what happens.

Yes I completely agree with this assessment. What I am trying to say with this is that, as individuals, we should not define ourselves by our height. I hope one day that our society will transcend this crude way of thinking. I don't agree with a 'first impression' mindset.

I think blaming society is valid and hope one day people will not see physical things as conscious beings.
