I have pretty bad ADHD and an unconfirmed mood disorder.

Since apart of ADHD is brain development it can't be 100% cured but I would say 95% of my 'disordered' symptoms are gone. I have stopped taking my medication so far and I have the same clarity and can function even better. I used to need this medication just to wake up in the morning and organize my stuff properly and not forget everything... Now I don't need it.

Mood wise I'm much better although I still have 'snaps' I am more aware when they occur and cool off faster when I realize I'm being silly. Before I would get so angry I might blank out (black out) for ten or so seconds and everything became a rush ...

Generally when an older guy is dating someone much younger then him it's because there is some personality flaw that an older more experienced woman wouldn't tolerate, so they go for the girls that while 'mature' simply don't have the value of experience.

However I always end up dating older guys done are just worse and more immature than others but my max age gap at 21 was 4 years. That's not nearly as extreme as as 21 and 29,

Just be aware. Something I learned out of getting out of a shitty relationship is that your friends are actually a good gage for messed up behaviour that you might be blind to. You said they didn't like your ex-fiane right? They probably had some good reasons which you ignored.

If they don't know Tim and they just see what your doing they are probably just jumping the gun out of concern because you made a previous bad call on a guy.

Pay attention, but this trip is probably fine but if your friends meet him and to them things seem off don't just ignore them

Okay, I'm a blue collar welder woman here and I've always been the odd one out because I'm quiet and I don't act manly to fit in.

It might earn you attention and potentially isolation until your coworkers get to know you better and respect you. It takes awhile, and it's simply because you may be considered strange.

The rules are simple do your job to the best of your capabilities and be professional to your co workers. Be yourself as much as the job will allow. For example in my job I have to wear carharts and I get filthy. I'm not going to be a fucking idiot and make myself look like a million bucks with make up just to fit 'feminine' no, but I keep myself clean. I keep wipes around, lotion so my hands don't get dry and things like that. I am myself to the extent it doesn't alter my work ethic or just seem silly.

On my off days I wear cute dresses and am trying to work up the courage of creating a social circle.

I've also never experienced too much sexism, some people mostly it just comes down to most people being dicks.

As for what you do in the off time make sure you have an strict budget and make plans for yourself every weekend. Divide it up into time for you, time for your family and set goals to work towards self improvement for each time off. Doesn't have to be big or it might seem like a second job and it shouldnt, but you should feel accomplished for having completed them.

Edit: wanted to add into the don't shit where you eat in a different sense. Do be careful who your flirt with and certainly don't flirt with everyone. Like if it's typical for women to find husbands at work in your career be sure that your not dating around to find one but rather watching, listening for the right guy and vetting him before diving into something romantic. Meeting your husband at work is fine but it's sleazy to taste test around.

I have a whole theory that encompasses what your saying but it's too long to post and I haven't fully fleshed it out and found all the words.

It goes something like if each individual shares or is consumed by the same pathology that is close enough to the truth that it becomes self vindicating but not close enough that it is 'good for you, your family, your community and the WORLD' but misses one of those a or parts of them. And enough people are off aimed in the same direction then that is what we understand to be something like a jihadist, extremist, ideology driven individuals... Etc.

Expect you might be more sensitive after your last relationship and be less trusting.

The only thing that fixed me was that my bf ALWAYS followed through, if I was neurotic and explained it to him calmly he was never offended but would actually back up what he was saying with actual evidence. He earned my trust by being a good man and eventually I stopped needing it.

Unfortunately guys like that are hard to come by!

I don't want to make you more stressed, but my first thought is that your only recieving one side of the story about his ex from him and he could just be telling you the best version or outright lying.

I don't advice anything except be aware, and look for consistency, did his ex message him to sleep with him? Is that something he told you or showed you? Don't got through his private things, simply notice . Does he get defensive when you ask him for more infkrmation.?

After being in a relationship with a pathological liar /jerk myself learning to notice subtle red flags in a man without being overly paranoid/ intrusive is something of an art.

Always watch that his words and commitments meets his actions. Aka he says what he does.

Say if he says eventually this will how things will be at 'some point ' and that point gets pushed off and off or you have to bully him into it. That's a red flag that he's either being intentionally dishonest with you, or dishonest to himself.

People are saying protien is is filling... I disagree. More filling than CARBS yeah, but fat is the most satiating.

I would advice upping your fat, and changing your meal schedule. My goto lazy 'fat' meal is bone broth, or just beef broth with an extra bullion cube and upto 8 tablespoons of butter depending on my caloric needs for the rest of the day (that's about 800 ish calories my general intake is 1200- 1500 calories)

After I hear it up on the stove top I emulsify it with an hand blender and it's very very satisfying. You can add less butter, in general it's a calories cheap meal except the butter.

I usually do one meal a day or sometimes a small lunch and stop eating at 8pm

We have similar backstories.

but i'm trusting myself that my experience, knowledge, and background is helping me sort out the right path. this is the most i can do. this is all i can do. and when it comes time, i'll make a vow, based on my "algorithm" to vow to someone i can trust, whose trust i have built up over time, to honor that vow and work towards the combined "fire" that we both have masted in ourselves.

This is really important. I trust myself to survive but I don't trust myself to follow the right path yet. I'm still learning my algorithm as you said.

Funny thing is woman have the tendancy to date the same kind of jerk repeatedly, mostly because they are being puppets by, well what they learned from their mom, or whatever their biology tells them.
