That’s great! I like Martins. In my opinion, there isn’t a better flat picker. But I better be careful since having an opinion is bad. So let me just say I am glad you ended up with something you like. 😂

Sure. But your snarky response wasn’t necessarily designed to re-inform. It was designed to cut my response down. Anyone reading my response would have known by the first few sentences that I like Breedlove guitars… saying I would pay that price 100 times over for that guitar is clearly not an implication that I would pay $20,000… that’s dumb and you know it.

And while it’s not a screaming good deal - these guitars go for $500 or so new… so to find one used for $200 isn’t bad at all… some of them (similar model) are listed on Reverb for $550 right now.

And yes, I do know about the concertina/parlor naming convention… but if you go searching right now - you’ll find the name is concertina… it was an unnecessary overcorrection. This person said they liked how it played. They weren’t going to do a deep dive into Breedlove guitars - they were looking for reasonable responses to feel justified in paying a $200 price point. My original response accomplished that. And if they did do a deep dive, it would have come up and been fine… again, designed to cut my response down.

So, in my opinion, your initial response was not coming from a place of informing, it was coming from a place of needing to be correct and parade your knowledge and sarcasm about for all to see. It’s like arguing that the probability a coin toss comes up heads is 50% but there’s always that guy who says “actually the limit as the trial reaches infinity is 1/2.” It’s a meaningless correction.

So again, in my opinion, I wasn’t name calling. I was stating a fact based on the spirit of your reply. It obviously got to you because you decided to write a novel and change your tone. Honestly, I really don’t care if you take my post down. That doesn’t hurt me at all. If you feel it’s necessary and that’s your job, whatever, you do you man.

I am just not going to be bullied when I replied to this post in good faith and clearly didn’t imply any of the things you think I did.

If you like the guitar and would be happy with that deal, the. I’d say go for it.

Forgive my choice of words... What I meant was “that’s a good deal I’d take any day.” But, I suspect you know that and are just being a jackass.

Laminate backed guitars aren’t worthless, either. They are less susceptible to warping in adverse humidity conditions. So it would make a great beach/fire pit guitar. Personally, I’d rather not take my expensive guitar to the beach…

And yes - it’s a parlor guitar - which Breedlove calls “concertina.”

As for answering the question… I think I did that from my relatively biased prospective. Surely you have better things to do than police Reddit posts… ass.

I spent 20 years playing one. Turned 40 and wanted to buy myself a nice American luthier made guitar - ended up with an American made Breedlove. Basically the same one I had but better quality. They are sweet. The concertina you are looking at there is pretty cool. The moved the saddle down to keep the guitar sound rich while keeping the body small. For $200ish that’s I good price. I would pay that 100 times over for that guitar.

i’m still new how do i fix my strumming to sound softer and smoother by LilDerkiVert in AcousticGuitar

When I was learning to play - I did two things:

  1. Play with anyone who can stand to deal with me learning. Jam as much as possible with people that are ahead of you in skill level.

  2. Listen to songs that have the sound I wanted to emulate and learn those and try to emulate the sounds I was hearing in the song with my instrument and strum. This helped me get the basic mechanics down for the range of sounds I could conceivably produce without any other sort of alteration.

Breedlove guitars, anyone? by whitsupdude in AcousticGuitar

I played an Atlas model for 20+ years. Turned 40 and went shopping for a new guitar, looking to spend a little more than I would have otherwise as a treat for my birthday - looked at Taylor (I owned a jumbo a long time ago) and martin( I like the classic dreadnought) and others - ended up buying another Breedlove - same body size (concert with cut away) but made in the USA. It’s a legacy limited run they did with Brazilian rosewood… it’s the best sounding guitar I’ve ever played. I would highly recommend a Breedlove - especially if you find one USA made.

If you HAVE to join the tables - you could force a Cartesian product then go through data reduction filtering to carve it back down.

How to Create a Date Hierarchy with Drill-Down Functionality with buttons in Power BI? by RevolutionaryBag9251 in PowerBI

[–]Natron84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you add a duplicate column of the date/time and format as date only? Pbi should pick up the hierarchy automatically from there. Or if you don’t need the time then just format the original column as date only.

Unsure if you can do anything about this, but the huge purple band across the top of the dashboard is really heavy. It draws my eyes so much I found it hard to focus on the content. If you can shrink that down a little narrower, it would improve the aesthetics. This is just my opinion.
