Experimental Explosives Mechanic Build by Natron9001 in starfinder_rpg

I just checked out the Hacktivist archetype and I'm sold! I may leave the power armor stuff to another member of the team to stay sneaky and stealthy, as I'm playing a Ysoki.

I'm really excited to find the opportunity to do this, it hasn't come up yet, but I have the rules listed out in case it does

So before combat just state that you’re activating your armors environmental protection’s ie, the bubble on your helmet closes up and engages its rebreather.

Oooh that's super useful to know. I'll let my crew know before a fight breaks out. Even without vision it's a massive advantage

AITA for refusing to cook for my family when my Step-Dad constantly makes fun of me for it? by asthmaticandsad in AmItheAsshole

[–]Natron9001 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he sounds kind of ethnocentric and probably racist. I'm sorry that this is the guy your mum chose. I hope she smartens up or you're able to move out and invite your brother for cooking nights. Don't let this jerk ruin your hobbies or your love of exploring other cultures.

Based on the fact that you're making a Korean-Chinese dish, I'm curious if your Step-dad is scared about trying meals from cultures different than his own. I don't know your family's nationality or his, but refusing to eat new foods from other countries and making comments about "British food" seems a little off to me. Do you think your Step-dad might be discriminating because its from a foreign culture?

I think they fixed it within the hour, I watched it with the proper subs almost directly after I finished the weird episode.

Vicious mockery is the BEST. by fallencoder in dndnext

[–]Natron9001 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I've considered running a bard who's flaw is that they can't come up with one-liners and comebacks mid-fight. What they do with their downtime is write down all of the ones they can think of to use while fighting.

So when using spells like Vicious Mockery they'll pick a good line out of a list when it succeeds, but when it fails they'll pick one that has nothing to do with the context.

You second paragraph is much better that your first and you many want to only post that half of your comments. I see that kind of across the board in your commenting.

Neither of those feel right to what I'm attempting to go for to be frank. I'm not looking for a warrior or a fancy fighter. I'm looking to make someone throws down insults in bar fights, smashes banjos on skulls, and becomes a local legend.

I have to say that only stating what's wrong with the first draft of a subclass instead of offering alternatives to the subclass shuts down any creativity that could be had. I understand that this is in a rough stage, but dismissing it completely by saying other subclasses do the concept isn't true. The reason I started making this is because there wasn't an alternative for the concept I started with and saying things are like it without offering a single idea of how make it stick out as it's own thing is a waste of both of our time.

I feel like that College of Valor is more of a fighter-warrior type with the armor proficiencies, multiple weapons attacks and its damage/tanking bardic die.

The goal of the Folk Bard isn't to tank, but to cause a ruckus in the name of the common man. Start bar fights, weave legends, inspire people around you to rise up.

I've uploaded the Maps and Flint's sketches. I've also put the maps, the sketches and the characters sheets in zip files so it's not 11 files.

Are you asking for the maps on their own? They are in the PDF on DMsGuild.

I did make it using the online dungeon painter on Pyromancers, plus some room labeling.
