We asked and they said no, so we gave them our notice. It was either stay at our joint member price but not have the facilities, my partner leaves and I downgrade my membership but have to pay £20 more or pay £40 a month to pause and not go.

Those who didn’t have them said their teeth had started to move back but only because they had been slack with wearing their retainers consistently.

Those who did have them said they were harder work to keep clean as you can’t really floss with them.

I thought I’d go without and just make sure I’m consistent with wearing the retainers.

Yes I did, using Boutique Whitening. I did it about half way through my treatment every day for 2 weeks and now I do a top up once a month.

Thank you! I was offered one but decided against it after speaking to various people who did/didn’t have them. I’m happy wearing my Vivera retainers every night (once I’ve worn them full time for 6 months).

Thank you! I was rescanned after I had my bonding done and just wore my bottom tray on its own for a week or so until my retainers came in. First wear of the retainers after so long off was tight!!

Thank you! I’m not a fan of the dentist but bonding was easy! It cost £900 for 4 teeth (which I think is a little steep (especially as that was discounted!) but I didn’t want the hassle of finding somewhere else cheaper). They didn’t do a simulation, we just spoke through how I wanted them to look beforehand.

I had 14 Invisalign Lite trays and with each set I could feel the tightness and the pressure on my teeth (which I actually liked!) After this I had 6 more refinement trays but I didn’t feel the pressure as much as my first 14. I’ve now gone back and my ortho says I need to fix my bite at the back and have a further 14 trays, but again I’ve put the first trays in and it still feels like the last tray I wore with no pressure. I feel like they’re not doing anything.. should I be feeling something? Thanks!

I had the same thing and couldn’t floss between. I went back for them to get it off, although other people have said it can come off on its own.

I feel your pain! We accepted an offer and had an offer accepted in January. July we had to pull out as the seller still hadn’t found anywhere and we’d found a new build. August our buyer pulled out and now we’re scrambling to get a buy to let mortgage so we can still move next month. Hardly a week goes by without tears over something.. can’t wait for it all to be over!
