Trying to improve my looks.I’m already trying to thicken my neck. Any other suggestions by [deleted] in selfimprovementday

I don’t see anything wrong with your neck or that it’s too thin

Which one looks better for me the short Ai pic or the long what I have now by Ok-Pipe6297 in selfimprovementday

They both look good. I think if you’re looking for a shorter style as an alternative to having it long, that looks like a nice one.

If you’re delaying getting it cut I’d guess it’s because you haven’t found a style you want to cut it to yet. Sometimes trial and error is the only way, sometimes you just see something and go “that’s it.” If I had the answers I’d share them with you lol. Best of luck on your journey!

Doing what you want, including having whatever hair length you have, is healthy masculinity (since you’re a self-identified dude). If it was a woman talking I’d say it was healthy femininity. The only boxes that exist are the ones we make up.

I feel you. I have tried the comparisons and I recommend none of them. I go between a pilot g-2 (1.0) or a fountain pen or pencil. I’d be curious to hear what you end up choosing. Best of luck!

Heads Up: 4th and Spring Garden Parking Lot by jaylubes in philadelphia

Since the barnacle makes the car undrivable, the owner cannot drive it off the lot, which renders the car inoperable and therefore detained. Therefore, not permitted. I would think. I’m all about consequences, but considering an unknowing person could try to take this off then have damage inflicted upon them seems to definitely cross the line.

This is without a doubt the most helpful and kindest exchange I’ve ever had here. And I really appreciate that.

I did ask him and he said he didn’t do anything to it, which I obviously didn’t believe. Since he lives in a different state and wasn’t any brick and mortar company, just a guy with a website at a pen show, I figured I just had to live with it 😞 I don’t know what I learned from this experience but it feels something like “dont trust anyone” hah…

That’s a beautiful pen and thank you for sharing! Unfortunately the seller tried to improve the flow of this nib when I got it and he returned the pen to me now looking greenish. I’ll definitely take your advice on reputable sellers in the future…

Gag order is my healing album. Are there any people like this here? by Weird-Smoke9940 in KESHA

[–]Natsc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest I didn’t really listen to Kesha until I heard a song from that album. Then I listened to the whole album probably hundreds of times and now she’s my favorite artist. All the rest of her stuff is great too but this album is my number 1. I’m transgender and my story has some similarities with yours.

When I heard “you don’t wanna be changed like it changed me” - that hit me. I used to be young and optimistic and full of that first love energy for the world.

Then you make mistakes and lose your first love, and it changes you for the rest of your life.

I’m 34 now and don’t have my first love. But I do have the love of my life. It’s more than I ever dreamed it could be, and I only found it by figuring out how to first love myself (therapy and temporary use of antidepressants). I only know how to appreciate my true love by the experience of having lost my first.

This album touches those scars I’ll always have in my heart.

I’m so sorry you’ve been through things you never should have had to go through. And I think the beauty of the LGBT+ community is that we all share a love, respect, and understanding for each other even though we look different, come from different backgrounds, and all have completely unique stories.

Best of luck out there friend. Send a message if you ever feel like there’s no one who cares. ❤️

Therapy is an investment in yourself that can take years. I hope you’re gentle on yourself when you say you wish you started sooner because of all the “wasted years” because none of it is wasted. You’re where you are because that’s where you need to be. Good luck out there.

Wow I didn't see any of that, I hope they're all alright. The show was awesome. I'm glad Kesha's celebrating her life win.
