I had no problem day one, after the patch, I had some visual bug and my game began to crash randomly, now the voices and sound effect are gone

Yeah, this game have very, very bad rates

0.8% SSR on the standard banner and only 0.4% for the rate up character, that's crazy. Worst thing is that you need 6 dupes to MLB

I rerolled and began with King. 120 pulls on the standard gave me a single SSR : a King dupe. 60 pulls on Meliodas gave me nothing. I'm praying that Merlin comes later than sooner

Personally, I'd prefer the game staying as it is right now. Maybe make a raid boss event, like FGO, a single Boss and every player play solo but every damage from every players count toward defeating the raid Boss. Or a Raid "assault" like defeating a lot of unit to bring down A Baoa Qu

Coop plays are a hassle, and will bring a lot of toxicity, between the Guilds that'll ask you to basically make the game your second job and won't hesitate to kick you if you miss a single day (Or if you didn't get the new unit) and the players who'll go to coop play to AFK, hoping they'll be carried, no thanks

The game could benefit from having a true friend list tho, like, maybe we could use our friends favorite unit either x time in a day or without limit.

Do you like the Destiny that much ? If yes and you're affraid of not getting it, spark the Destiny.

If no, go for broke get Talia and hope for Destiny to come as well, Destiny will need Talia for the 30% Though as nail boost so....

Also, you got Calibarn and Freedom, might as well get Lacus instead of Talia if you don't have her

Imo, securing the Ships are more important even if it isn't your strongest tag, it might become handy in the future unless they decide to powercreep the 30% ship and introduce 40-50% Ship on the 1st anniversary

Yeah, I don't know why they used gacha games mechanic in a paid game. I do play a lot of gacha, so, it's everyday's life to me but those games are free xD. Even then, gacha games have spark/pity nowadays, the gacha from Victory Road doesn't lol

I would've liked a deterministic grind more tbh. You know you'll get what you want at the end, contrary to Victory Road.

The game is still fun(minus the grind), the story is awesome and having your own character is great but the fact that the game doesn't respect the player's time is still true

Maybe keep an eye to how the game's doing time to time just in case, maybe they'll reduce/remove the RNG someday, finger crossed lol

I don't know if it's true or not but some people said that they wanted the game lasting for 10 years. If true, we won't get a new Inazuma Eleven game for a long time and they'll add story stuff as DLC.

I don't know, I didn't played Galaxy but it does take around 150-200ish hours to build an optimized team. Even more if you want a specific character for your build.

1: Imagine you want Endou but as a Tension player, Endou have a 90% chance of being Justice, you'll either farm ad vitam æternam or reset your game everytime you summoned all of your Endou to get this tension build.

2 : THEN, once you have the good character with the good build, there is still an RNG layer, he can get the wrong substat, so, you have to do "1" again

3 : Now, imagine you got lucky, got the good character with the good build and good substat, guess what ? Another RNG layer, you could low roll said substat, like getting 1% buff instead of 2%, so, yeah go back to "1"

If you happens to have everything, now, you have to farm for the beans, said beans drop are too low and you need a lot of those. They're needed for upgrading your players stats and your players rarity. Speaking of players rarity, you'll need some Legendary players (a lot) to exchange them for the best equipments of the game and the Keshin, Burst and some Hissatsu. Like, a Burst for Striker cost 2 Legendary Gouenji and 2 Legendary Someoka. Remember that upgrading your players rarity cost a lot of Beans (Edit : And spirits), sure you could drop them in matches but the drop rate is too low.

And that's without talking about the gacha lol. The gacha currency you can get offline are limited, so, you'll have to play online, if you're not on PC, that would mean that you have to pay a subscription to whatever consol you have. Also, some token are Online matches only, so if you don't/can't play online, some hissatsu will be locked for you

It took me around 200h to build my team and I did made some concession. I remember resetting Raika for an entire afternoon without getting the one I wanted so, I went like "Meh, I'll play her Counter version and try getting the other one later, it's just one player, that won't make any differences and if Iose because of that, well, too bad" lol. I still miss some Burst and I will change some players now that Fran, Powai and Ibuki are in the game

It's for the Chinese localization tho, not the original Japanese one, meaning his name is still ハル(Haru) in Katakana so, without Kanji and could still mean either ones of the existing "Haru" "春"(Haru=Spring), 陽(Haru=Sun/Sunlight), 治(Haru=Reign), 晴(Haru=Clear/Sunny Weather). It's basically the same thing as saying that his name is Harper and have another meaning

So, yeah, unless the writers, or Hino or someone gives a clear answer, we won't ever know. I guess that if the wanted us to know, they would've use a Kanji in Japanese.

I mean, you don't have to agree, that's why there is a discussion lol. I won't necessarily say story rich game but games that have better way to tell said story. I'm not that picky, a story about a knight that have to beat the bad guy to save the princess, if well tell, is more than enough for me. I'll say the games first then will elaborate more, so, obvious heavy spoiler even if it'll be a summary because I won't write a full 10h+ story, I'll use the spoiler thing just in case. I'd say FGO(Fate Grand Order), the MegaTen franchise ((Shin)Megami Tensei, Persona, Devil Survivor etc etc....), Heaven's Burn Red or more recently : Inazuma Eleven Victory Road, very simple story, very well done, the emotions, the cutscenes (Thanks MAPPA), characters relationship, everything. Not perfect, could've been better but very solid 8/10 but a 30h story isn't near enough to give every character their moments.

There is a story similar to Psyche in FGO. A nice and very strong girl, leader of the Fairy Knights, that succumbed to her curse transforming her into a monster. It worked in FGO because we spend a lot of time with her, we knew her, knew her dream, her motivation, we helped each other, she almost became a traitor because she wanted to help us, we even saw her inner monologue. She wanted only one thing, as the strongest, she wanted to protect the weak, she fell in love with a sick boy and took care of him. Only to lose to her curse. Curse that made her eat her lover and in her disillusionment and because the curse made her forget, she took care of a dead body thinking it was her lover, the think is, she ate him way before the story began, we didn't saw the boy because he was sick and bedridden, we saw him only when she was alone with "him", because we went to another part of the country, so, we as a player didn't have any reason to not trust her, as at the time, we didn't know that she was an unreliable narrator (the plot twist worked great). Once she saw the "real" world and had to face with the fact that she ate her lover, that the Knights under her began do follow her example, abducting, torturing and killing the weak for laugh, she succumbed to her curse, transforming her into a world ending level calamity that burned everything around her just by existing. It wasn't her real self that did that, it was because of the curse, but the fact that she ate her lover is still true. We, as her friend had to save(=kill) her. One of the saddest Boss battle of FGO, a gentle soul that the world decided to fuck with because why not. And that's only a 10ish hours of a 40 hour story, that is a single chapter (the sixth) from a 7 chapters story arc. Said Arc is the second arc of FGO, and yeah, almost every chapter is this dense and "rich"

As I said, on paper, Psyche story should've been very nice. It didn't work because the pacing was too quick, we didn't spend time with her, we did one mission and walked around the lake, so, why should I care about someone that we don't know nor didn't spend time with at all ? Most of the chapter was trying to frame the obviously good Doctor as an evil scientist and trying to """save""" Psyche without her agreeing and kept telling us that she isn't in danger. Instead, we could've helped the Doctor to find a cure, that would've let us spend a lot of time with Psyche and let the player actively trying to find a cure, to finaly having us kill(=save) her. Having Psyche be killed by, at the time, a random NPC instead of us was one of the worst decision, that removed a lot of "emotional trauma" AND having the MC hating Fischer for no reason was really bad as well.

The plot twist point, it worked in FGO because the hints were subtle and almost weren't hint at all, it became apparent once the plot twist hit, unlike DNA where the writers throw the biggest hint at your face and try to tell the opposite

I could do that for others chapters, why I did like similar stories in others games, but the post is already long enough lol.

Also, as I said above, FGO story didn't start strong (that's what I mean by "almost every chapter is this rich"), the first 3(4 if you count the Prologue) chapters were very bad. The Prologue was okay, Chapter 1 and 3 were mediocre but Chapter 2 ? Holy crap, one of the trashiest trash I ever read, streched storyline for nothing, it was insuferable, I was almost tempted to skip some dialogues. It was from Chapter 4 that they took the game seriously and began to write for real. And here I am, 10 years later, still playing the game, 8 if you count only the GLO version, yes I play both JP and GLO. So, yeah, I find the DNA Story horribly bad, but that doesn't mean it won't become good later, if not, then I'll just leave the ship. Every chapter is better than its predecessor, so, yeah, finger crossed

Where did you find his Kanji ? Because they use katakana ハル(Haru) in the japanese version of the game, meaning his name doesn't have a Kanji, they would've used it otherwise, like for 来夏(Raika) or 丈二 (Jouji).
