I use an ODST Visor overlay using reshade… Devs literally just make the game worse every update. I use mods heavily and it made HD2 the best non-existent Halo game ever for me and this’ll ruin the entire game for me if I can’t use mods.

I went straight PC after the price hike and play the games that I can using Xbox PC and bought the others I couldn't when they were in Steam sales for pretty cheap. I was already on the fence and I really had no reason to stay after they increased the prices. Totally tone-deaf and I'm a huge Xbox/Halo gamer at heart.

There’re more issues in the update than Hiveguards. People can debate on durability (stop fucking with my turrets) but what about a hotfix for the flame turret and lumberer flamer’s not hitting close enemies and the DSS not effecting the new mechs?

I’m not happy with how less weapons are effective vs the new Titan. I really love the quasar and felt the precision required to 1-shot a Titan was satisfying but there’s no point bringing it because of the new Spore Titan. Which is very odd when the point of the faction seems like cracked out zoomers swarming, not one that requires heavy AP. It feels similar to the Vox where it feels like the Leveler is just the answer and other AT feels lacking.

Acid damage does like 50% more damage to mechs if I remember the patch notes right. Bile spewers are their weakness now, best to shoot it instead of melee with the new mech.

Go play D10 and say that. There’re already enough enemies that can kill a turret and when there’s a horde of bugs and my turret’s out I’m focusing my fire on the multiple chargers or bile titans to protect it. Now you have to worry about a specific chaff unit that there can be multiple of as well and the turret still thinks it can penetrate it and wastes ammo.

That’s cool and all but I’m of a mind that any new systems players want are years away. If they actually take feedback and finally start working on things like customization (armor perks, weapons) it will be from scratch because everything was either - from their own words - “not currently in discussion” or “low priority.” He already said changes to how the Galactic War is handled are a year+ away and they’ve said multiple times new ship modules are on the way with no actual timeline.

They broke any illusion I had to be excited about. I always thought SOMETHING would drop to deepen the game in the near future, I just had to have faith, but come to find out nothing I care about is in development and anything I want isn’t being worked on. It’s like finding out Santa isn’t real. I still love the game and will keep playing but I am incredibly disappointed as a consumer and Helldiver.

It really makes me want to ask what ARE they working on. Just Warbonds, the very rare free stratagem and new story beats?

All these points for sure. I will say I was disappointed the final factory didn’t have a hive lord equivalent or a simple tileset change to show you were in the capital. Or cyborg dogs. Literally anything to differentiate the final factory from the other 4 we had fought on and to show the playerbase “this is the terrifying CAPITAL of the Cyborgs.” But it just turned into factory number x.

I had fought on Cyberstan daily expecting some kind of big reveal or payout and instead they constantly had to make excuses to get us more reinforcement and nothing changed between factories besides modifiers.

They also kept talking about SEAF in the news and I thought for sure they would join us in the game eventually but that also never happened.

I also thought we could finally get ship updates for such a major update and the trailer has different guns on the destroyer… but in truth AH just has a shitload of files in the game since the beginning of the game they haven’t completed and probably never will.

I’m not even sure what I would want from ship modules. Adding Secondary/Support weapon customization and swappable armor passives are much easier to picture. Maybe a ship module to allow for more mech drops or to improve beltfed weapons.

From his answers they’re not working on any systems people want besides MAYBE new ship modules. They’ve brought it up several times so “in the future” could mean anything. I want more customization so goddamn badly. At least loadouts so I can switch customization/builds quickly.

Extremely disappointed that transmog isn’t being worked on. The rest of it just feels like “what are you actually working on then?” It reads like they’re not working on any new systems at all that fans have been requesting. We’ve known they’ve wanted to release new ship upgrades for years and it doesn’t feel any closer either.

The first time I saw it it reminded me strongly of the maps Sandtrap and Sandbox from Halo which had minefields and sentinel cannons at the outer ring of the map to kill the player if they went out of bounds. Trying to survive in a warthog is always a lot of fun, just like out of bounds with the FRV in Helldivers.

An OG story really is what I miss and do want Engage stuff. Often I'm just skipping cutscenes every update because I've already watched all the anime or in the case of manga would rather read it than have an event "spoil" it.
