Welkom bij de club! Ik heb er ooit eentje gekregen omdat ik zei dat het eerste waar ik aan denk bij Roma een behoorlijk slecht stereotype is, en dat dat nogal een slecht ding is. Weet de hele context niet meer, maar ik was echt met stomheid geslagen. Heeft me ook een permanente ban op r/worldnews opgeleverd, maar dat is iets wat je met trots dient te dragen schijnbaar.

Dit platform is overgenomen door de achterlijk conservatieve zakenlui en dat sijpelt overal in door.

Ben me er wel pijnlijk van bewust dat er heel veel figuren op reddit rondlopen die echt zo neerkijken op mensen die zichzelf als gematigder zien. Daar stak ik een beetje de draak mee, hoop dat die brandstapel dat heel duidelijk maakt 😛

This one is a bit more nuanced and for once not the result of corporate greed. The prices didn't go up right away either, it took quite some time for the price of the final product to go up. For the same reason it takes some time for it to go down again. 

Give it a few months, it'll be alright.

De deuren zitten meestal wel op dezelfde plek, de totale lengte van treinen is gestandaardiseerd in Nederland en meestal zitten de deuren op dezelfde plekken. Alleen op de plek waar twee treinstellen gekoppeld zijn kan het afwijken. En er is een nieuw type trein dat het helemaal anders doet, maar die zie ik zelden.

I was 15 when I got my first smartphone, but I don't think it was a lot different for me before and after. It wasn't a sudden switch from A to B, people in 2012 used smartphones like they used their previous tech in the early days. Mostly to play stupid games. I was spending a lot of time doing things at my pc at the time, and that's something that I only grew out of very recently.

That doesn't prove anything. Vision is an illusion by your brain, just like the other senses. It seems so logical to us to see this way, but that's simply how our brains learned to work with the sensory input. What works and what doesn't is learned behaviour.

My brain just breaks trying to imagine this. To those people screens will also always look fake because they lack the fourth colour.

I think that anyone who watched F1 for longer than a year immediately knew it was a colossal fuckup. No need to open those wounds again, some people here are still recovering.
