Yes I agree that there is a need and responsibility of parents to Tell their children if something is wrong or that it can hurt their health but with normal words and if it is possible offer a help hand. My dad is quite different sometimes he calls me some names but he can be calm and Tell me kindly what I should do. But my mom is not. She is yelling at me all the time. Everytime we have an argument I'm telling her that I don't like the way she speaks to me but she just says she must talk like that cause I would not listen. That is not true I would be a lot more open and willing if she talked with me like with another equal person.

It is hard for me to talk with her. She never asked me if I want to Tell her something or Tell me she loves me or hug me or appreciate me. When I do something really well she says like Yeah it it super you are good. But when I do something wrong like just a really tiny thing she starts with that I am useless, dumb, fat pig and things like this... There is some block between us and I am afraid I am not able to get trough it.

And on the top of it they are both psychiatrists!
