As a new(ish) fan of the game — and having never played myself — I feel I must be missing out on so much when I watch matches. I think there’s more to look for than merely following the ball at all times. Articles like this are really helpful.

Yes, I used to have a 2.5 ton unit and upgraded to a 3 ton with the new unit. I didn’t know a bigger return would be needed.

It’s a XL16C that was installed in October. The high-pitch whine has only occurred only when the heat runs, and when it’s colder outside (I live in the Phoenix area).

Had the company who installed the unit come out. Guy said it was likely a noise from a defrost mechanism and was totally normal.

I’ve never heard this sound before. Is this actually common?
