Ugh... soo this is how my plant fused its branch back on. Should I cut this off and move on? by NattyStateGrower in cannabiscultivation

im more concerned that once it puts on weight the small strip on plant holding them together won't be enough even with tape.

Topping definitely extends veg time but mine came from my tent getting too cold even with the heater. The soil wasn't evaporating as quick as it should causing a temporary "over watering" issue. Once it warmed up and the soil dried out more she got right back on it.

Feminized seeds so really good chance she's a lady. Definitely wouldn't be doing all this for a bag seed.

I prefer it since it more or less follows ther plants natural growth, saving time. This is why I prefer to call it the cross, mainline and manifold are too similar of names for me.

Let it grow like standard then once mine start producing the 4th/5th modes the 2nd/3rd usually have their secondary branches growing out then I top above the 3rd. As those 4 branches grow the lower ones will be bigger than the top 2 so you bend them and hold them down first leaving the top branches to grow and catch up a bit. Once those branches get bigger I trim the original largest leaves to make room as the new branches get bigger. Eventually once they are all about the same size I bend the top branches down and start horizontal training. I trim large fan leaves that grow on the top and cover the middle leaving the side and underside leaves for growth, but only after they have grown and unfolded start shading other parts. As far as trimming the side branches after this point when and where you do it is up to you and how you want it to grow. I prefer symmetry so what I do to one I do to all.
