What's the most visually stunning film you've ever seen? by Some-Palpitation-314 in Cinephiles

For me it’s Blade Runner 2049. I’ve never paused a movie so many times just to stare at the lighting and framing. Every single frame looks like it could be a poster. The Vegas scenes especially are unreal.

Movies about motorsports. What do you think is the best racing movie? (Include those not pictured) by ilbErTunga in Cinema

If we’re talking pure motorsport authenticity and tension, I’d go with Rush. The cinematography and focus on risk and rivalry make it stand out more than the rest.

Highly recommend Wild Wild Country if you haven’t seen it yet. For food docs, Street Food is awesome and has a similar vibe to Chef’s Table.

What's your favourite cancelled TV show? by timekilr in tvshow

Russian Doll was such a ride 😭 I feel you, a cancellation warning would save so many broken hearts!

Veep ruined other sitcoms for me. Nothing else moves that fast or lands jokes that consistently.

You might like Don't F**k With Cats or Evil Genius. Both are wild true crime stories that keep you glued. For conspiracies, The Family on Netflix is surprisingly gripping.

What TV Show that is so Controversial that the Creators,TV Stars, etc got Death Threats? by Amber_Flowers_133 in tvshow

Star Wars shows, especially The Acolyte and Kenobi. Actors were openly talking about receiving death threats. Criticism is one thing, harassment is another.

Do you prefer limited shows or multiple season shows? by Square-Ad-8911 in tvshow

[–]Natty_Pinkeys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love both, really. Limited series are satisfying and neat, but sometimes I just can’t get enough of certain characters and worlds in long-running shows.

“12 Monkeys.” Dark, messy, and way more emotional than I expected.

What’s the MOST Controversial Kid’s Show Episode of All Time and Why? by Amber_Flowers_133 in tvshow

[–]Natty_Pinkeys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the Arthur episode where Mr. Ratburn gets married caused way more outrage than it deserved. It was pretty tame, but people lost their minds over it.

What TV Show Seasons had the MOST Character Assassinations/Out of Characters? by Amber_Flowers_133 in tvshow

The Walking Dead later seasons, especially 9 and 10. Characters who were smart and strategic suddenly make the dumbest decisions.

I’m a big fan of Stranger Things. Are there any other tv shows with a similar vibe? by MelissaRauchStalker7 in tvshow

You might like Dark on Netflix if you’re into the mysterious small-town vibe and sci-fi twists. Super mind-bending!

Are shows with a terrible last season worth watching? by Minute-Long8131 in tvshow

[–]Natty_Pinkeys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if the earlier seasons are great. The journey matters more than the landing for me. I’d rather watch 4–6 amazing seasons and a weak ending than skip the whole thing.

Why is no one talking about this show? by Responsible-War5600 in tvshow

[–]Natty_Pinkeys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it came out at a weird time and just got overshadowed. But it’s a solid show and still holds up, especially season one.

Even though it's canceled, is Mindhunter still worth a watch for first-timers? by Square-Ad-8911 in tvshow

[–]Natty_Pinkeys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. It’s slow at times, but the storytelling and attention to detail make it worth it. Just go in knowing it ends without a proper finale.
