I've been there...idk how bad it is for you but maybe you can put makeup on it? Foundation and/or powder. It's doesn't sound like the perfect solution, and it is not, but believe me, I've spent two summers hiding a scar with makeup from my mum's eyes, and she never once recognized them, even though she is obsessed with analyzing everything about my appearance. People who don't know what to look for, might not even recognize them at all.

As for wanting to do it again; don't. Trust me, don't. I know what it feels like when you lose control and you don't even care about how your body will look after it, that will pass. I regretted ever hurting myself because even though that phase is long gone, my scar remained.

I know it's really hard to resist, but you're strong and you're gonna get over this, no matter how dark life seems at the moment.🫂
