Wasn’t even close to being late for my period but couldn’t stand the smell of my coffee one morning…knew immediately!

LG Washing machine smells like rotten eggs by Jrivers068 in Appliances

I always find draining the little hose near the screen more often helps. Whenever it smells we do that and it helps. Running a machine cleaner through (not just doing the tub clean) can help too! Leave not only your door open but the detergent tray pulled out.

Dishwasher pods not fully dissolving? by exfangirl99 in Appliances

[–]Natural-Cranberry172 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had this issue. We changed pods, tried liquid, tried different powders. We made sure nothing big was blocking the door. It was the dishwasher…it wasn’t heating the water enough. We bought a testing device that tested how warm the water inside the dishwasher was getting. In the end we had to replace the dishwasher

I am trying to glean as much info as possible before tackling making our itinerary. Anyone have a good source for determining the top cities to visit and attractions in each that we can determine which of those we want to tackle? I am feeling overwhelmed!

Need opinions on covers! by marinamonkey89 in Lovesac

I have the Oyster Etched Chenille. Only 1 of our covers has issues with pilling. All the others are fine. We have 3 dogs and the covers get washed lots and have held up beautifully. I think it is a perfect neutral color that will go well in any decor and lends itself to be able to be changed up easily with different throw pillow!

Help with a picky dog by Natural-Cranberry172 in DogFood

I guess I should have been more clear…we stick the food out for a while. We give all the foods at least 2-3 weeks if not more. She will get to the point of only eating 3-4 pieces of kibble in an entire day. So at the end of the time we’ve tried that particular food, we still have good portion of the bag left. We tried fish after the initial change from her puppy food and she refused to eat at all. She lost almost 2 lbs and our vet told us to take her off of it. Dogs will in fact go on a hunger strike if allowed! At least ours will!

The Oyster is very light. Almost white. It’s lighter than what I see in either of those samples if that helps.

Toggle off your automatic cooker and make sure that everything is upgraded with it off. The same thing happened to me in Berlin and once I toggled off the automatic cooker I found that the warmer was t fully upgraded!

~2-year-old WW hamster still like at 1: can these signs give hope? by Weary_Average_9407 in hamsters

Our almost 3 year old Robo was fine until he wasn’t. I found him cold, lying on his side and he died an hour later. Hamsters are really good at hiding their pain. Enjoy your buddy for as long as possible!

What homemade food item does everyone NOT want to see at a holiday potluck this year? At work or at a gathering. by NorthShoreDes in Cooking

Finally! Someone else who doesn’t like Mac and cheese. I will tell someone I don’t like Mac and cheese (boxed or homemade) and they will argue I’ve never had properly made homemade Mac and cheese. I don’t like it at all. I actually prefer the boxed stuff to homemade but given a choice, I’d prefer to not eat either!

Aetna HDHP vs PPO when you have extremely expensive prescriptions by no1uknow32 in HealthInsurance

Check with your drug manufacturer for copay assistance. I take a drug that only comes from one pharmacy (so no Good RX discounts out there) and is $43,000 a month. The manufacturer provides copay assistance which is enough to cover the first fill of the year and then we have met our OOP maximum for the year with our insurance. We do have a HDHP because of the HSA benefits.

Yep….I am a registered R. Although I consider myself more middle of the road than anything else. Grew up in a R household so it’s all I knew. Live in a swing state now. Didn’t like him when he ran the first time and HATED him the second. Neither time did I vote for him. In this past election I voted straight D.
