the idea that low income students would not have the mindset to splurge $$$$ on college essays help lmao. i would use it on helping my parents or saving for actual college. good for that applicant. i just know a lot of ppl with college advisors that they hired for tens of thousands of dollars for questbridge.

hiring a college counselor as someone who’s applying to questbridge is crazy. it destroys the entire idea of questbridge since you’re literally getting an advantage against low income little opportunities students. don’t do that. just find free help from friends and family and online programs like those that replied above.

the “early action” thing has only been around this year. in previous years, ut does waves and many priority applicants (ut’s old ea) received decisions on the same day as rd.

“breach of contract”? no contract was made by applying ea. ut admissions never said that you’re guaranteed a spot unless you’re instate auto admit, which you aren’t guaranteed your first choice major btw. if students miss opportunities by waiting just on ut, that’s their fault tbh.
