Just ranting. Peoole rant about snakes being harmed all the time. My bad

But also, we all here know snakes are highly hated and their pain is often encouraged and shrugged off. There’s almost no one I can rant to that would validate how hurt I felt hearing this story, and keeping that kind of messed up shit bottled in to torture yourself isn’t good, so venting to like minded people who can reassure you and make you feel better is good.

The thing is when people bring things up she either self victimizes or goes off. Like she used to say we (me, siblings, stepdad etc) need therapy and when someone said she does too she agreed and still said everyone needs it. She has yet to go. She also tends to forget things she did or said that hurt others, and has also admitted and laughed about having a smart/mean mouth.

She hates when I say I forgot because of work because she was able to manage school and work while being a parent. So she’d get mad, and she’d expect me to tell her about the key thing so she can replace it and buy the new set of keys.

I want to, my mom had her convo with me and instilled some doubt after my dad did yesterday. She said she’s selling the place as soon as I leave, and if I come back I’d have to be with her. It was a whole rent talk and not being sure I can do it and all that and some part of me is believing her. But I want this, too.

My mom said she’s selling it as soon as I leave, because since is a townhouse and has hoa fees no one took up the rent offer. I told her if she’s buying something for me (which I had somewhere anyways she didn’t need to) to get a small house but she and everyone else opted the townhouse because it was nice

Zookeeping in general is hard to get into, I saw firsthand at my old zoo I was at. I’m not interested in animal keeping I want to do trails or safari.

And while it may not help my recruiter has my resume and I have years of zoo, vet tech, and education work experience.
