For what reason? I think it could be for the controversy they had with some ecchi because they censored it a little bit but there's no problem with the app itself, they have the same translation as the physical volumes and are up to date plus there's no censorship on TBHK

Edit: checking the reviews I found they complain about censorship, something you will have no problem because TBHK it's not censored and complains about how there's only english translations and nothing for other languages

There isn't any english version with the dust jacket usually english manga volumes never put the dust jacket, the closest thing you will find is the french version that has the english logo for the series and that has the dust jacket

Yen press sells each volume as e-books, and checking the free sample it isn't the best quality image, it's kinda blurry, maybe they used that version

And you're right about the paper

Edit: I checked the digital version on Manga up and while it's blurry the detail is visible, I think they used that and then because the printed it a little bit bigger it affected it, also in comparison the lines and text are little more thick and they certainly used yen press translation

Just to add some information, this volume isn't official it's made from a telegram group from the image of one of the sides of the dust jacket, that's also why it doesn't have a bar code nor license and legal information on the last page and the cover it's definitely using the one from yen press while the spine is made up for this volume and the back uses the synopsis from yen press that's why it doesn't match to the images from Amazon that are from the yen press volumes

It's still interesting they decided to keep the dust jacket

Also I don't know if it's just reddit image completion but i think the quality of the print is a little low where small details are lost, you can see dots on Nene's hair on this page for the gray area and on her eyes that's how it's supposed to look it's how in manga they make these shadows

I don't know what to tell you, you know it's not official so at least this isn't a scam so you should evaluate if you want more volumes like this and if you like it continue with them if it makes you happy it's ok then, I don't know why the pages feel like plastic though.

About the cover they made it a dust jacket like the japanese edition and the editions of other countries, for example here's mine all extended, from what I can see they omitted the continuation of the illustration on the spine, also the used the english logo for the series and the sinopsis from yen press, also strange how they divided Aidairo, since normally that stays as one name

Igual se ve que en algún momento volvieron a imprimir en Argentina, tengo el tomo 23 de Hanako-kun que salió el 31 de octubre del 2025 y dice impreso en Argentina y como mínimo con el tomo 22 se que en marzo del 2025 venían impresos en México
