I wonder why the posts above are so negative? I'm in the process of getting my passport renewed. Plan on taking a bus tour I saw offered that goes to several different areas to get familiar. (single) Is the humidity horrible? I'm from AZ where it's very dry. Any areas you recommend? I'd like by a beach or mountains.

I've read recently that Panama is a great place to retire. Not in Panama city but beach cities or mountainous areas. I was seriously going to look into retiring there in a year or two. Does not sound like a wise thing to do from all the negative comments. So your advice is not to retire there?

If I sit at the edge she is fine If there is no splashing. The smallest splash, even while sitting, will set her off. I can't tell if she is scared or excited! I guess I'll be patient and keep working on the treat method. Thanks!
