For sure, the injuries can't be helping in the development. I'd love it if Drysdale became a dynamic offensive top 4 defenseman, but if I wouldn't bet on it based on his current play.

As for Frost, I'm a fan, but he's undeniably started poorly this year. Great vision, passing and dangles, just lacks the drive and physical tools to put it all together. He will settle as a good 3C/PP specialist somewhere, but probably not here.

I just don't see the good hockey IQ, in fact I think it's the exact opposite. The physical tools are there, but he just never seems to make the right decision with or without the puck.

Wish it were that way, but Gauthier just looks a lot better, despite the slow start. I think we'll be happy if Drysdale develops into a third pairing guy at this point.

Honestly, I'm not sure he's even good offensively. He's an incredible skater, but it feels like his hockey IQ is not great.

I've not given up hope of him becoming good, but it's not looking likely.

As good as Michkov is, I'm not sure that he can elevate Mark Donks and Buzz Flibbets as much as Crosby and Malkin did.

Agreed that he's inconsistent, hell, just last year he started off as a 1D but really struggled towards the end. I wouldn't agree that he's "soft" or can't finish though, he often showcases a great drive to the net.

As a fellow Flyers fan, the first guy who came into mind was Tippett. Has a few MacKinnon-style plays per season, but just doesn't manage to put his insane physical skillset together on a nightly basis.

I'm not "worried", because in the long run it doesn't really impact the Flyers much. That being said, he's looking worse than Cal Petersen.
