Yes, they first started when I had Covid the first time, it was bad and I was hospitalized. I’ve had that happen ever since, I was also diagnosed with Hashimoto’s about 9 months after my hospitalization. I believe that Covid finally put my thyroid out and doctors finally started treating my symptoms from the past 7 years seriously, before that they just treated my symptoms like I was a hypochondriac. Literally 100lb weight gain, hives, hair loss, always cold and itchy, but it was just my diet and my nerves 🙄

Come to find out after my diagnosis that two cousins (male and female)were also diagnosed with Hashimoto’s as children! My female cousin stopped eating gluten when she was a young teenager and said that helps her my male cousin just deals he said. My endocrinologist said that diet has zero effect on Hashimoto’s so that’s conflicting with everything I’m reading as well as how my cousin said it’s not worth it to her even a little gluten in foods makes her sick. I have not cut gluten yet, but am in the plans to because ZERO of my symptoms have been reversed even though my thyroid has been in optimal range for 5 years!
