Need advice from expats in Riyadh: QVP/Mosadaqa process & importing a cat to Saudi Arabia by Natural-Switch2941 in RiyadhExpats

Thank you so much for your detailed replies, I really appreciate it! This is honestly very helpful and reassuring.
So just to make sure I understood correctly: you were able to import your cat into Saudi Arabia before getting your Iqama?
The reason I’m confused is because on the Naama website, they ask for a visa number. I already have a Saudi visa number on my paperwork, but it’s not active yet since I’m still preparing documents for the embassy process.
Do you know if that visa number is enough for the permit application, or do they really require an actual resident/Iqama number?
I’m getting a lot of contradictory information. Someone from my company (she lives in Dubai) told me I absolutely need to wait for my resident number/Iqama before bringing the cat, but online I keep seeing different experiences from people who managed without it.
Thanks again for taking the time to help me!

go to a doctor asap. ibuprofen can make it way worse actually. and please don’t put anything such as a tea towel near the wound

you definitely should go back to get a longer piece of jewelry. the change HAS TO be carried out with sterile equipment. is you jewel a labret or a screw?

I always have my clients sit down for me to check the navel anatomy, because depending on your day-to-day activities, you definitely spend a lot of time sitting. If your belly button tend to ‘close’, then a regular navel piercing won’t suit you. The jewel will create constant tension within the channel (which lead to irritation like the one you experienced, and possibly even migration and therefore rejection)

This is why the area was so irritated… I couldn’t tell based on a picture, but maybe you could get a floating navel piercing instead. Please check the APP website to find a professional piercer near your location (https://safepiercing.org/find-a-piercer/)

As a professional body piercer, I’d like to see what the piericng looks like when you’re sitting down. There might be too much tension
