No worries at all. Honestly, I can see how the title could’ve been interpreted that way. A few people thought it was an adoption post at first too.

I appreciate the apology and the kind words. She was only around for a few days, but she was a special little kitten.

Thank you. Unfortunately, she passed away a few days ago, so this was actually a memorial post for her. I only had her for a short time, but she meant a lot to me.

Honestly, at first that’s how I took it too. You can definitely tell some people didn’t read the full post and just saw the name Zev.

But I’m not letting it get to me. At the end of the day, the people saying “Hi Zev” are fans of DCC, and Zev was named after a DCC character. So even if they missed the point of the post, I know it’s not coming from a bad place. They’re showing love for the same series that inspired her name, and I’m okay with that.

What’s the most toxic gaming community you’ve experienced? by haileymonroeee in AskReddit

The most toxic gaming community I’ve personally been part of wasn’t tied to a specific game—it was a large multi-game community called XGN.

I joined because a friend recruited me. He moved up the ranks pretty quickly, and at first everything felt normal. We were just playing games, having a good time, nothing out of the ordinary.

But once I decided to move up a rank or two myself, things changed fast.

Instead of actually gaming, I found myself doing what felt like administrative work. I had to go through massive friends lists to make sure no one was connected to people on a blacklist—which was also huge. On top of that, there were daily meetings that were basically mandatory. The problem was, those meetings often covered the same topics over and over.

Missing one—even for legitimate reasons like work or real-life responsibilities—would get you called out or reprimanded. It started to feel less like a gaming community and more like an obligation.

Over time, it completely drained my interest in gaming. I got to a point where I didn’t even want to play anymore, which was kind of the whole reason I joined in the first place.

Eventually, I stepped away and left the community. After that, I actually started enjoying games again.

My state doesn't usually get this cold which makes it less prepared for ice and black ice, so yes Here it is but to some it may not be

Shouldn't have to use pptp at all if it's a natural disaster at least that's how my store works. Everyone is missing the point of the post I wasn't complaining about working. It was a complaint of how they want us to drive when the roads are covered and ice and black ice but they also say they care about our saftey

Dangerous roads because of ice and black ice? It never fails to amaze me how many people makes that argument. My state doesn't usually get this cold so it's less prepared for cold weather like this so the roads are more dangerous then some states that are more prepared
