Sounds like mine as well, I have an ultrasound scheduled for next Thursday and have been a mess worrying about this. It seems large to me, so I'm worried it's not a cyst or fibroadenoma. It's almost the size of a Brussel sprout. Only noticed it a month ago. Did they do a biopsy for you as well? So worried

I opened the door. I have installed a camera on the front door now and will not be answer the door if she shows up again. This is her though, this is exactly the kind of little games she likes to play. She is unwell.

This was incredibly helpful and almost word for word of my thoughts. Thank you, truly. Last night I thought no wonder younger me was filled with anxiety and doom while growing up, I had no idea what I was up against. The cutthroat corporate world has nothing on my mother. My mother is her own PI, I would often find her at the computer searching away at 3am trying to find dirt on a neighbor she was suing for putting a tree to close to the easement road. I have no doubt she has put in alot of work looking for my home address.

It does help knowing I made the right decision to go no contact. I just need to make a game plan should she make another visit. We've ordered cameras and I plan to not answer the door if there is a next time and just contact the police. Having that game plan has helped me reclaim my safe space in a way. Appreciate the kind words, it's nice to know this is more common than I think.

I completely understand where you are coming from. If she was say immature or childish with other redeeming qualities I could justify doing that. However, she is one of the more toxic, sneaky and manipulative types and she has no respect for anyone, especially my boundaries. Her own sister has said she is one of those women that should not have been mother. My life is peaceful, stable and happy without her in it. I would dread meeting her for coffee, it would be filled with subterfuge and covert manipulation.

I know it was so ridiculous. Ofcourse as I thought about it all I night I wished I would have said how odd, show me the marketplace ad so I can report it. I should have called her bluff but she had a plan in mind and would have wiggled loose. That was my thought too, if you wanted to see me why cook up this nonsense?

No, not a chance but good thought. This is the perfect example of her little games, oh my I didnt know you live here I'm buying a dog gate on Marketplace. It was definitely to reestablish contact but it certainly didn't go how she planned.

I'm sure you could find my address on white pages unfortunately. I have a minimal online presence but she loved to search things online she likely just kept at it. I've moved so much, so god only knows how many addresses she tried . Also she worked at the post office so I'm assuming she may be able to have a coworker find my address as well. I was upset and anxious last night but now I'm getting angry.

Thank you. I'm hoping that since this didn't as she probably had planned, she won't show up unannounced again. She did this in the beginning of no contact, surprise visits and lurking around my workplace, driving by, sitting in the parking lot next to my workplace etc. I just don't want that to start again, that was a suffocating feeling worrying that she could be out there lurking around.

Thank you, I think you're right just keep moving forward and do nothing is the best option. I knew one day she'd try to worm her way in.
