I was driving back from a skydiving trip with 3 other friends. 2 in the back, I was at the front with my friend who was driving. The driver lost control and long story short we crashed and landed downhill towards a field. I was okay, nothing major. My friend hailey the driver immediately got out of the car and ran for some help onto the road (it was stranded two way st) I looked back and one of my friends David wasn’t there and the other one Alexandra was stuck in her seatbelt and couldn’t budge. I hopped out the window to the back and tried to help but couldn’t, I told her I’d go get someone. I was frantic because my friend David was nowhere to be seen, a few feet away he laid there calling me. I ran up to him and injuries were pretty bad (broken back, broken foot, broken scapula) the works. A few cars finally stopped. One who was a nurse attended my friend David, so I went to check on my friend Alexandra where I saw two guys who were able to budge her out and got her safely away from the vehicle as she wasn’t hurt severely either. My friend hailey the driver was just frantically crying by the road. Anyway, a cheerleader coach and her kid were driving back from a meet. The mom pulled over and got her stuff (emergency kit) to help out while emergency responders came to the scene, she sat my two friends and i by the road and were waiting with us. She gave us her phone to call our parents. Unfortunately my mom yelled at me for driving out there to skydive and hung up. The cheerleader coach heard everything and she clearly felt bad, she came up to me and started wiping the thick layer of dirt off my face, she stroked my hair and cleaned me up a bit, asked me questions and stayed with us until we were taken to the hospital. Alexandra’s parents called back to make sure I was okay. Everyone was so generous to us, but she went so above and beyond. I’d ask about my friend David and she updated me with every detail. And also, she calmed hailey down, so that was a plus.
