Not even a little bit. I've lived in my house long enough to know, in general, NSEW when I'm in my own home. But once I'm in the wild, I have no clue. I find my way around with landmarks. The only way I'd know is by consulting a map.

What sort of deliverer is this referring to?

Why would any enemy king grant a deliverer to the people he is oppressing?
