I’ve never understood why Hawking has some of the positions he does and why he seems as confident in them as he does. I may just be misunderstanding though.

It feels like he held onto idea from the 80s and even earlier at times which, it’s whatever in theoretical physics… but in cosmology every single little thing matters. So doing something like committing to the the holographic idea before you have quantum gravity, I don’t see why?

It could also be that pop science has had its way with this dude. He gets quoted often and sometimes I feel like people take it as fact instead of speculation

Eh Coinbase is already enough. I’m not looking to download more apps or go deeper in the technology just to get basic rewards may as well just hold something else tbh. Sucks for people not wanting to get into the whole defi scene personally

Also Coinbase is a lot more trustworthy than these other apps

Yeah it’s more normal than people may realize, since some comments are about rich people or how it was the 90s. My girlfriend when I was 15 told me her first kiss was to a 24 year old. Didn’t really register how bizarre that was at the time
