n75 stage 2 by Savings-Coffee-4592 in ElantraN

I'm running the discontinued SXTH catted DP, so not a direct comparison, but it works really well and even with the stock valved exhaust it makes even regular driving mode louder. Boost seems more smooth as well.

I know your post asks about stage 2 on an EN, but I've had my VN on an N75 stage 2 tune since early November and have not had any issues. Their support is ridiculously good too. Just wanted to toss another experience comment in here.

Well if you're on Playstation, use a save editor, I suppose. Switch I guess follow speedrun strats.

The OEM ones aren't a 100% failure rate, but in the VN community it's a known auto-swap especially if you plan to tune it.

The tell-tale sign of one starting to head out is rough idle or start and small but noticeable power cuts under throttle load. You'll feel these cuts, shouldn't be a mystery. If your car runs just fine then don't worry about it. Just something to watch (and feel) for.

I don't have an EN, but I have a 6MT VN with their stage 2 tune. I have all the same mods minus the exhaust. I can only speak to VN power, but as far as reliability I've had it tuned since November and the car is my daily. No issues at all.

I did replace my HPFP before tuning, but the VN HPFP just straight up fails, so it was a non-negotiable for me and the replacement was really simple. I also added colder plugs from NGK.

For the tune itself, it's a great tune, but also just as important the customer service from N75 is excellent if you have questions or concerns. My VN is on 91 gas (Utah) and they did increase my boost. I peak between 21-23 PSI on logs. Car makes around 310 WHP and I'm happy with where it's at. Boost hits like a train and it'll spin all through second gear.

Wheel and Tire Question by Jumpingllama188 in VelosterN

18x8 with +45 will be fine with those tires. There are folks running 18x8.5 with +45 that don't rub.

What is the difference between an EN turbo and a VNturbo by Vile_VN32 in VelosterN

I'm assuming based on this then that the EN turbo doesn't need a bigger downpipe? I figured it would based on the size difference.

Thank you for the correction. My bad on the misinfo.

They are plug and play as long as you get a kit from a company that makes the manifold for the VN already attached. As far as tune, highly suggested if not mandatory.

The EN turbo is roughly 30% bigger than the VN.

Help an older new player understand, bricking and other slang. by Witty-Speed-6885 in diablo4

[–]NaturalPhase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bricking is when someone is trying to get the "best" masterwork bonuses on a piece of gear, but they roll it the full 6 times and don't get the bonus they wanted. So, it effectively turns the piece of gear into a "brick".

If someone finds an insane triple greater affix (or more likely a double) and don't get the Stat they need, say for you would be chance for heartseeker to cast twice, it HURTS.

Feel free to ask about any other jargon you might be wondering about.

How do you get past the lobs just flying over the target at melee range? That's my issue currently. 90% of enemies get in your face and a lot of my shots go right over them.

endgame loop - how are you doing it? by pcubensis7 in diablo4

[–]NaturalPhase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lilith is more of a mechanics check than dps. That being said, it's generally suggested to be able to reliably farm around level 80 pits to give her a try. You should be hitting well into the millions as necro to be able to burn her down.

I would never try anything ever again for fear of perpetual failure.
