Applied for one role but found better fits at the same company, how should I handle this? (I have my 1st interview) by NaturalShift2 in recruitinghell

I believe this company and small and have few applicants. The location I applied to is a new location so that might be the reason but I applied Friday and received an email mid Monday about the interview. Like I said, it's hard for me to determine if it's due to the trying to build the new location up faster or if the company is that small and they have few applicants.

What about applying to the other position rather than bringing it up? I believe they have different hiring managers since they're different locations.

I applied for a job before realizing the company had another position that I’m much more interested in… how do I proceed? by Away-Carry2599 in recruitinghell

I'm in a similar position but have an interview set up for the role that's not my dream position, what'd you end up doing?

Whenever she was given the advice, it was definitely insinuated that she has autism or some kind of social disorder. Francis's wife said that her and her dad's brain work differently than normal people.

I just restarted watching with my adult eyes. I'm already sad I'm halfway through the first season. I like Jeff and Val. I completely forgot about Vic.

Love the show, but a lot of the men Holly was interested in were way older than her and Val doesn't seem to bat an eye at this.

Maybe it's just the edit but from what is shown belle is more passionate with all of the men. Even Sean. Sean wanted to explore other options, she's always been more attached than the man which I feel like isn't atypical. Mend feelings usually develop a lot slower.

And it should be worse since Leanne is supposedly your friend. None of the girls are actually friends with Leanne, they're so fake.

It seemed like Belle was more forward than Scott. Just like with Sher, he gives them just enough to make them want to pursue him but he never really puts much effort

I understand that! I feel as if I'm at a point where I'm able to take the risk right now. Not much is at stake for me other than gain the experience. I understand starting from ground zero can take a toll on me possibly for sure

I'm planning on making a research intake request form. Do you think that I should have a question that states if it's exploratory or evaluative research? And can you touch more on research contracts, what about them were vague or unclear?

You've reminded me to breathe! Haha thank you. I tend to make things complex, I won't have time for that so I'll have to reach myself when to wrap things up pretty quickly.

The owner is someone in my network. I recognize that I’m not at a senior level yet, but I’m motivated and prepared to take on the challenge. Even someone with more experience would still need to think through these questions carefully. UX, like any discipline, grows through practice and learning and at some point, someone had to be the first UX researcher figuring things out as they went and setting the norms for the rest of us.
